In short

Management is a fixed fee from £995 per month, per platform, plus a one-off fee for the tracking build. There is no percentage of ad spend, no contract and no minimum term. What moves the fee above £995 is the work in the account — campaigns, locations, conversion actions, creative volume — never your budget.

Why the fee is fixed

Fixed fee, from £995 per month per platform, plus a one-off fee for the tracking build. No percentage of your ad spend. No contract and no minimum term — 30 days’ written notice to leave.

That structure exists for one reason. A percentage-of-spend fee pays the agency more the more you spend — whether or not the extra spend earns anything back. Percentage fees are usually pitched somewhere between 10% and 20% of media spend, so an account running £20,000 a month costs you £2,000–£4,000 in management. Double the budget and the fee doubles, automatically, before anyone has proved the second £20,000 converts as well as the first. The agency’s incentive is to keep recommending more budget. Yours is to find the point where more budget stops paying.

Those two incentives pull in opposite directions, and the client is the only one in the room who notices. A fixed fee removes the conflict. When we say it is time to scale, we earn nothing extra for saying it — and when we say a campaign has hit its ceiling and the money is better spent elsewhere, that costs us nothing either.

What’s included

One fee, per platform, per month. A platform means Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads or ChatGPT Ads. Run two platforms, you pay for two. Included in each:

  • A full audit before we propose anything — your existing account, historical performance and tracking, reviewed by hand. If the audit says the account does not need us, you will hear that.
  • The campaign build or rebuild — structure, targeting, bidding, budgets, negatives, audiences and feeds, built from scratch rather than inherited.
  • Ad copy written by us — headlines, descriptions, primary text, hooks, and the testing plan behind them.
  • Ongoing optimisation — search term mining, negative lists, bid and budget management, audience and creative testing, landing page recommendations.
  • Weekly reporting built around cost per lead, lead quality and what it actually cost to acquire a customer — not impressions and reach.
  • Direct access to a founder by WhatsApp, email or video call. Not a shared inbox, not an account manager relaying messages.

Conversion tracking is priced separately as a one-off build, because it is a one-off job: server-side tracking, GA4, Consent Mode v2, Enhanced Conversions, and the work of getting platform-reported conversions to agree with what your CRM says happened. After that it is maintained as part of the monthly fee for any platform we run.

What’s not

The honest list, so nothing arrives as a surprise on an invoice:

  • Your ad spend. You pay Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and OpenAI directly, on your own card, from your own account. We never hold your budget and we never mark it up.
  • Video and photo production. We write scripts, hooks and shot lists, and we brief whoever shoots it. Studio time, crews, actors, editors and stock licences are not in the fee.
  • Website builds and redesigns. We will tell you exactly what to change on a landing page and why, and we will test the change. We do not build or host websites, and we do not sell a development retainer alongside the ads.
  • Organic social media management, email marketing, PR and brand identity work. We do not sell these, and if that is genuinely what your business needs, we will say so rather than sell you something adjacent.
  • CRM setup and sales follow-up. We can see where leads go cold and we will flag it, but converting the lead once it lands is your side of the line.
  • Third-party tool subscriptions — call tracking, form software, heatmaps, feed management. If a tool is worth paying for we will say so, name the cost, and let you decide. We take no commission on any of them.

How the fee is set

£995 is the floor for a single platform. What moves the number above it is the amount of work in the account, and nothing else:

  • Number of campaigns, service lines, locations or markets being run
  • Number of conversion actions and how complicated they are to measure properly
  • Creative volume — how many new ads the platform needs each month to keep working
  • Whether there is a product feed involved
  • Multiple brands or accounts under one roof

What does not move it: your ad spend. We work with businesses spending from around £500 a month up to £100,000-plus, and the management fee is the same at both ends, because a well-built account takes the same hours to run at £5,000 a month as it does at £50,000. You are paying for the account being run properly, not for the privilege of spending more.

Bons & Frazer Ltd is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT added on top. The figure you are quoted is the figure you pay.

The fee is quoted before you commit anything, in writing, and it does not change unless the scope changes and you have agreed to it first.

FAQs

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

No. Fixed fee per platform, per month. If your budget doubles, our invoice does not.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No lock-in and no minimum term. Retainers run month to month, and either party may cancel by giving 30 days’ written notice — fees for that notice period remain payable, so leaving costs you one more month and nothing beyond it. The accounts, the tracking and the data are yours and stay in your ownership throughout — there is nothing to hand back because we never held it.

Do I have to buy the tracking build?

If your measurement is already accurate, no. Most of the accounts we are handed are not, and we will show you the gap rather than assert it: platform-reported conversions on one side, your CRM on the other. If Google Ads reports 40 conversions and your CRM shows 22 sales, no amount of campaign optimisation fixes that — you are optimising toward a number that is not real.

What happens if it does not work?

You will know before you have to ask, because the weekly reporting shows cost per lead and lead quality rather than activity. If a channel is not going to pay for itself, we will say so and tell you where the money is better spent — including if the answer is not with us.

If the numbers make sense on your side, tell us what you are working on and we will be straight with you about whether we can help. You can also see what we have done for other accounts or read who you would actually be working with.
